Every two years, the Craft Brewers Conference plays host to the World Beer Cup, aka “the Olympics of beer.”
This spring, the best breweries in the world will be crowned in Philadelphia at the close of CBC.
Since the inaugural competition in 1996, this event has brought together the best brewing talent in the known universe, proving that brewing excellence knows no borders. The 2014 World Beer Cup saw a record-breaking 1,403 breweries from 58 countries around the world enter 4,754 beers in 94 style categories.
2016 promises to be even more competitive, as the craft brewing renaissance continues to reach all corners of the globe.
